In the last 20 years there have been changes in style and fashion in the world of illustration as with everything but The Art Book remains the definitive showcase for the most talented.

As you look through The Art Book 2008 we know you will be impressed by the creative range and versatility of all of the artists and the professionalism of their agents. Please also take a look at the New and Emerging Artist section at the back of the book where you will see work from some exciting new artists. This section was launched last year and the calibre of the work has been wonderful.

This year our cover competition was judged by the contributing agents and I am sure that you will agree that David Hitch was a worthy winner and has come up with an excellent cover for our 20th birthday edition.
