About Barbara Spoettel

Barbara Spoettel studied at the European Academy of Arts and the University for Graphic Arts in Germany. Having graduated in typography and illustration, Barbara started work as a graphic artist and fashion designer, but illustration soon became her main focus. Barbara’s artwork is glamorous yet decorative with contemporary styling and has been in demand on both sides of the Atlantic since she started out. Barbara’s talent of adding a touch of glamour to the every day has been widely used across editorial, publishing and advertising projects across the globe. Barbara's clients include, Debenhams, Estee Lauder, N Power, Leo Burnett Paris, The Americana at Brand, Smith and Gilmour, Hodder, Marie Claire, Glamour Magazine, The Knot, The Sunday Express and The Sunday Times.
